Day Two of Dare to Get Dirty

My children have watched far too much t.v. in the past two days. I promised them that Mama was going to come out of the craft cave and bring them to the beach tomorrow. They're looking kind of pale. I jest, of course.)

If you want to join in on the DTGD Challenges over at SCS, just click on the widget to the left and it'll take you to where you need to go. There are priiiiiizes!!! Lydia even wrote us a permission slip to ditch our familial duties in favour of papercrafting. She's a gem, that one.

Vacation agrees with me...

and it certainly agrees with my scrappin' mojo! Lookie what I made:

I'm toying around with the idea of starting a project life album but I can't decide if I should follow some kind of schedule or just let 'er rip when I feel like it. We'll see...

See that smudge next to Pete's head on the page below? Yeah. I was putting the finishing touches on this bad boy when I noticed something on the photo. I went to wipe it off but it turned out to be a @#$!!@% black fly full of blood. I got off as much as I could but now I can only see THAT as I look at this page.

I think we can all agree that this is the cutest baby ever, right? I thought so. I timed myself for fun and this page took 12 minutes to make. (deep bow) Uh-thank-yuh.

This is one of those pages that you finish and step back to say, "DA-YUM, I love scrapbooking."

Thanks to some wonderful demo friends, (Mindy, Connie by way of Jenn, and Lydia) I was able to see these pages on the display boards at the year's Stampin' Up! Convention. I sent in 24 samples and 14 of them were used. I'm only posting a few of the projects here but thanks to all that sent me photos and kind comments.

I am...grateful.

3 New Pages

All photos by Manon Dufour

The scrap bug bit me and I'm all mojo, yo. I'm on vacation so that probably has something to do with the creative juices flowing. There's an awful arm shadow from yours truly on the last page. That, and I just realized I've already scrapped that photo...dolt. I did a major clean-up in my scrap room so I guess the next step is to do a major photo clean-up, too, eh?
