Pedaling B-Day and some blog candy...

stamps: letter it, pedaling past, canvas
ink: espresso, limeade, indigo, black
paper: cchip cs, wwhite cs, limeade cs, indigo cs
accessories: jumbo eyelets, 2-1/2" circle punch, large star punch, decorative label punch, black journaling marker

This was a really quick card to make so I made quite a few. I think it makes for a nice looking masculine card. I'm sending one to my father-in-law for his birthday this week, in fact. He's a wonderful man who is so full of life. He's got a mischievous twinkle in his eye and loves, love, loves his family so much. Happy birthday to you, Maurice.

It occurred to me that I haven't given away any blog candy for what seems like ages and ages. So, to say thanks to all of you readers out there that take time out of your day to stop by and check out the stuff I make, I'll be doing a random number drawing for a Stampin' Up! stamp set called Pennant Parade. It's a super fun set that I already have in French so I thought I'd share the wealth a bit and give my brand new English set away.
All you need do, dear reader, is leave a comment on this post. I'd love to come up with a witty question for you to answer or something like that, but really, I'd just like to know who the people are that are stopping by my blog. I'll leave the comments open until September 25, 2011. Guess I'll have to figure out how to do that random draw screen capture thingy, eh? Ske-doosh.

I'm a fairly recent convert to following your blog, but I love all your work so, I'm shocked it took so long if I'm honest... I do stop by and have a look at everything, read your posts, I am just a little quiet on the commenting front :)

Love the card Brandi!! You should do the same one with a concord or eggplant card base. Some colors look wonky on my puter, and Espresso is one of them sometimes, it looks purple, but the card looks really nice in purple!! lol Thanks for the chance to win some candy.

Brandi,
I don't remember how I found your blog but I love your cards & layouts and stop in every so often and then go back over all the posts I've missed. I am adding you into my Google Reader though today so that I don't miss anything!! I love that your style is quite different from mine but you always give me ideas for cards! Like the 2 rounded edges of a card -- LOVE THAT and will have to remember it next time I stamp! Also, thank you for the chance for some blog candy - that set looks awesome!

Have a great day!!
