Owl double slider card...

I've always wanted to try the double slider card from that the lovely and talented Beate Johns made a tutorial for on SCS but never really got around to it. Then a friend from work showed me one that she made (Hi Val!) and I just knew I'd have to take a whack at it. I changed the dimensions slightly but it's pretty much the same as the tutorial. For those of you that don't yet have the owl punch, what the beans are you waiting for!? LOL! It is impossible to not make something cute with it.

I've been slowly working on a mini album for Logan. It's a paper bag book that I purchased the tutorial for from my friend, Janine. Super freakin' cute. I' ll try and get it finished, photographed and posted sometime in the year 2010...hopefully. Ske-doosh.

Simple Blue Penguin

This is a very simple card that would be easy to mass produce for Christmas. Now ask me if I'm going to make my own Christmas cards this year. The answer is no. I'm going to officially permit myself to slack off on that particular item on my never ending to-do list. Wow. Evening typing that out feels good! LOL! Ske-doosh.

Awash Birthday

I made this card for a Mini VSN on SCS this summer. One of these days, I'll actually find the time to create something new!! I'm going to my friend Julie's on Wednesday evening (hopefully) to do some good ol' fashion scrapbookin'! Shall we cross our fingers that I get whatever I make photographed and then posted? Yes, let's. ; )

I had such a fun day today! I spent the whole day with my friend, Manon. I played assistant to her in a fun photography session with some of her clients here in town. We don't get to see each other often so it was a great day. She took some wicked awesome shots of my family so merci beaucoup, Manon! I'll post those when I get them. Ske-doosh!

From all of us...

I'm going to pat myself on the back for this card. I love it. (big cheesy smile) Ske-doosh.

Logan's Phys. Ed. bag...

I had great intentions of making a tutorial for this cute phys. ed. bag that I made for Logan but it just ain't gonna happen. Maybe when things slow down...

Normally, I would call it a "gym" bag, but my husband is a Physical Education teacher and he depises the term "Gym Teacher". The cool thing about this bag is that I can chuck it into the wash with his phys. ed. clothes! All it's made of is a tank top and canvas squares I had left over from this bag I made. He's the only kid in his class that has one and everyone at school has commented on it! Wicked cool.

I'm sick today and my husband is gone until tomorrow. I can't wait for him to get home so I can go lay down and die. ; ) Ske-doosh.
