Crossing my fingers that I win a free stamp set!! Skedoosh.

DTGD- Girlie Gingham

Stamps: ketto, extreme elements,

Paper: crumb, kiwi, bermuda, cobbler

Ink: crumb, kiwi, bermuda, cobbler, black

Accessories: jumbo eyelet, gingham ribbon, round tab punch, 1/2" corner rounder punch, playground button, linen thread, 3D's

It's a lazy, lazy day here at the Côté-Wiggins household. The boys are at daycare and I'm surfing the net while lying on the couch, watching Armaggedon. Again. I never tire of that movie. We send the boys to daycare three times a week in the summer while we're on vacation and while we're in town. I was pretty happy to have that option yesterday as it was raining cats and dogs. Just the thought of us being cooped up in the house all day together...eep! There's only so much playdough, stamping, memory games and movies one can stomach, kwim? Only, today, I wish they were home with us. Do you guys have dyas like that where you just miss your kids? I'm not talking about weekends away or sleepovers to Grama's. I'm talking about, hey, I saw you 3 hours ago but I wish you were here hanging out on the couch with me. LOL! Anyway, they'll be home in a couple of hours. I'll be fine. *narf*

This card is another DTGD challenge card. I used a Stamping Bella Ketto on it and I wish I had 10 more Bella's in my stash.  They're so funky and sweet. I'm going to a friends place tonight for some scrapping, wine and fun. YAY! Guess I should get off the couch and get something done. Skedoosh.

DTGD- Medallion Scene

Stamps: scene in a garden, thank you kindly, medallion, perfect punches

Paper: confetti, cobbler, baja
Ink: choc chip, baja, cobbler, kiwi,
Accessories: wide striped olive ribbon, curly punch, pewter brads

This card was made for one of the sketch challenges that were part of the DTGD challenges. I have a pretty rough time with sketches. I seem to have a mental block when I use them and can only see the blocks and patterns on the sketch. I tried to think out of the box on this one. I like the way it turned out but I'm not crazy for it. I've got one more challenge to finish...hopefully I can dream up something gooood. Ske-doosh.

Paper: crumb cake, black
Ink: lots...LOL!
Accessories: rhred ribbon, 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" circle punches, 3D's and of course, the stamp a ma jig, blender pen!!

Ok, so you know how I disappear sometimes for weeks on end? Well, that won't be happening for a while because I've got cards and projects lined up for the next month! That's what doing all the DTGD challenges does for ya!

This card took me many attempts to try and get the little dudes well spaced. I'm glad I figured it out because it turned out mega cute, imo. This is another one of those sets that I will never get rid of. I'm off to finish the housework that I've been neglecting for a week. Ske-doosh.

DTGD- YOU ROCK!

I made this card for yet another Dare to Get Dirty Challenge. It's kind of an homage to you guy, my dear blog readers. I don't get many comments but my counter says you guys are still around so, THANKS! Thanks to all of you for sticking around even though I disappear for long stretches sometimes. I really appreciate the visits!

Wanna know how I made the funky DP you see there on the left? I took my 3/4" square punch and punched out a bunch of squares...'cause that's watchuh do with a square punch, dontcha know? I then cut them all in half and placed the in a cool pattern on my card. I just ran a bunch of ATG adhesive all over a piece of cardstock. Be careful if you try it: make you r card stock a bit bigger than anticipated because it was really difficult to keep the triangles all flush and straight. I had to trim so off the edges before I put it on the card.

Thanks again! Ske-doosh.

DTGD and Les Moutons de Kallou

I visited Ladybird's blog and she had this posted so I went to check it out. Look at these ADORABLE plush kits!! Because I'm posting this photo and a link to their blog, I have a chance to win one of these kits! They are TOO cute. So, here's the link to their blog if you'd like to go check them out. Their blog is in French but there's a Google translater on the right hand side of the blog so you can read up on all the delicious plush creations they have!

On to a card...

This is another Dare to Get Dirty challenge card. You can get all the info to become a member of the Fan Club on SCS by visiting my last post and clicking on the links provided. I made this card using the Ketto stamps from Stamping Bella. I think they are just the coolest, funky images!

Gotta run. I'm way behind on the challenges! That's what I get for slackin' off today! Ske-doosh.

Dare to Get Dirty- Fabulous White

The Dare to Get Dirty Challenges are back!! If you're a fan club member over at Splitcoast Stampers, you have the priviledge of taking part in the DTGD Challenges. Big Shot Monkeys

This card makes me happy. It's fun and colorful and full of monkeys. What's not to love? I was inspired by pg. 96 and pg. 91 in the SU! IB&C.

I've been on a stampin' tear, lately! Being on vacation and taking a break from the biz has opened the flood gates of creativity. I stay up way, way, WAY too late at night but it's all good! I'm on VACATION! Woot woot!

What are you all up to for your vacations this year? Anyone coming to stamp with me in beautiful Chibougamau?! LOL! Skedoosh.

Quilted Amitié

Can you guys tell that I'm on vacation? LOL! I haven't stamped this much in a long time! I've also been staying up until 3 am every night to do so...ahem. I really need to get to bed early tonight. Well, earli-ER, anyway. Just one. more. card...

I made this card for the July WICKED Challenge over at SCS. You have to be a demo to have access to the challenge so if you click and you can't get in, well, hang out here and have a look around! *snort* This month's WICKED Challenge hostess is Susie Nelson. She's a real sweetheart and a great stamper. You can go have a peek at her gallery here.

So, who's stampin' with me tomorrow? LOL! Skedoosh.

Tandem Cobblers!

I made these two beauties for one of the throwdowns in the Iron Stamper challenges on Stampin' Addicts. I didn't get to play live yesterday because we had a day at our friend's beach and then were invited for supper. Wicked fun day. Actually, I've linked to her before on my blog. Her name is Manon Dufour and she's an amazingly artistic woman who seems to have a  kack for juggling life in a truly gracious manner.

Manon took some wonderful photos of my family! Have a look!

We've still got a couple of more poses I'd like to get so stay tuned for more to come! Ske-doosh.

It's been a butterfly day...

Semi-drive by posting. Sorry the photos aren't that hot. My card holder aka Skyler wouldn't stay still. He was pretty proud to help his mama but he couldn't tear his eyes away from the t.v. LOL! Skedoosh.

DVD Tin Scrapbook

This has been a tutorial that I've always wanted to try over at SCS. It's a DVD Tin Scrapbook that was put together by Julie Buhler (who TOTALLY rocks, by the way) and I've been waiting for the right opportunity to make a few of them. I made four of them for the daycare ladies at my kid's daycare. They always enjoy the handmade goodies I give them...makes me feel good!

We're all officially on vacation at my house so there should be some scrappin' and stampin' goodies posted sometime soon! Ske-doosh.
