I have nothing new to share so I'm posting an oldie but a goodie. This is fitting as I've been chosen as the Featured Stamper on Splitcoast Stampers today!!! I'm really excited! Can you tell?! LOL! It's been really fun to see a bunch of my cards being case'd by a bunch of my peers in our crazy stamping world. A big shout out to Beth Shilaika for having given me the nod!! Ske-doosh.
ETA: I've had a few questions about how i made this card so I'm going to add the steps to this post:
1. Using your markers, color the flowers from Inspired by Nature. Huff on the stamp to re-humidify it and then stamp it on Whisper White paper. Before you lift the stamp, put your Stamp-A-Ma-Jig in place.
2. Making sure NOT to move your SAMJ, remove the stamp and clean thoroughly.
3. Ink up the same stamp using versamark. Place the stamp in the SAMJ so it goes exactly over the already stamped image. Using clear embossing powder, heat emboss.
4. Using the En Français background stamp, stamp over top the flower image using versamark. Clear EP, heat emboss.
5. Gradually sponge from the center out using 3 different colors and then finish off the edge using choc. chip.
6. Cut out using the Top Note die.
Voilà!!! Hope that helps!

A bookmark card.
Here's a card I did with my clubs this month. I got the tutorial from SCS but I changed the dimensions a bit. I cased the sketch from the tutorial as well. Why mess with perfection, right? Mary Brown (who did the tute for SCS) is a fellow Freak and I love her art!
I had the day off today and I was going to scrap and stamp myself into oblivion. What did I end up doing? Watching The Blindside while lying on my couch. Niiiice. It's been so long since I did absolutely nothing. It feels heavenly! LOL! The boys will be home soon so, real life begins again! Ske-doosh.

March Tour de Freaks!!!
Welcome to the March edition of the Tour de Freaks! You've landed on stop #6 of the tour which mean you've just come from Janine Tinklenberg's blog, Stamps, Paper, Scissors. May she stamp forever!! Because if she doesn't, who will I minion for?!
Spring has sprung! What says Spring more than Easter chocolate? Not much, I say! So, I dedicate my Freak post to the oh-so-chocolatey goodness of...well...chocolate. (pretend that was clever and move along...)

In my never ending quest to use up my ribbon scraps, I made this sweet 3x3 card using the Chocolate Rabbit from the Occassions Mini.
This one is by no means my idea. I received an e-mail of this image a couple of years back and I couldn't stop laughing. My friend Amy Bell (Hi BFF!) tells me that it's a t-shirt. If I ever find that bad boy t-shirt, I'm buyin' it!
And, of course, I had to make a scrap layout. This one is a 6x6. I'm loving making all different sizes of pages lately. The journaling is a little hard to read because it came out really light in the photo. It says: you loved mr. squirrel so much. so, to express that love, you ate him.
Logan's eyes bugged out of his head when Papa gave him this chocolate squirrel. Look at his little fingers in the first photo. He was just itching to grab it. That's my schtuff for this go around! Head on next to the lovely Robbin Spinner's blog, About a Girl. She made some wicked cute stuff.

Booger Kid
It was beautiful here today! We spent the day outside in the yard, puttering around. Logan had a friend over for the night and they had a hoot! They played in the mud outside and got sufficiently dirty which is what kids should do in the spring time, right? And guess what we had for supper? STEAKS on the BBQ!!! It was manna from heaven, man. So good. I'm feeling the love of spring and it feels gooood. Ske-doosh.

SA sketch challenge #44
I really loved Paula's sketch this week so I made 2 cards instead of one! Who misses Washington Apple DSP as much as me? That whole series of patterned paper was so awesome! I barely have any Maine Blueberry left...sniff sniff.
So, Logan went tubing today with the daycare. He had a blast and got a bit of a sunburn on his cheeks. It feels like spring around here and I'm loving it. Funny that, in Chibougamau, it can feel like spring but we can still go tubing...vive le grand nord!!!
I'm really looking forward to bar-b-que'd steak. Shishkabobs. Burrrrrrrrr-gerrrrrrrrs. I want to eat outside on the patio. I want to read my book in the sunshine while my kids run around in the yard. I want to hear them squeal in delight as they run through the sprinkler. I want to watch my neighbour obsess about the dandilions on his lawn. I want summer to be here, man. Ske-doosh.

A challenge on Scrapbook Laurentides...
I felt like dipping into my non-SU! stash and this is what I came up with. The challenge was to use a banner on your page. And since I'm obsessed with using my ribbon scraps...LOL! Gotta get back to work. Ske-doosh.

Another WICKED challenge...
I adore 6x6 layouts. They're so easy to whip up and the photo is the sweet spot. I used a sketch from Scrapbook Etc. magazine on page 102. I love that mag. This photo makes me laugh out loud. My boys came downstairs to help me set up for a workshop. I gave them busy work to do (read: gluesticks and paperscraps). Result? This photo. Ske-doosh.

Saffron Season
I made this card for the WICKED demo challenge over at SCS. The WICKED demo for the month of March is none other than Andrea Walford! She's come up with some great challenges so if you're an SU! demo and have access to the demo forums, head on over and check it out. Ske-doosh.
