Go check out what Emilie just posted over on the Scrap Review! There are going to be some serious goodies to be won...seriously. It'll be the best 2 bucks you ever spent. Hey, remember that kid from Better Off Dead with John Cusack?
"I want my two dollars!!!"
Love that movie. Ske-doosh.

In the meantime...
For those of you inquiring about the mini album I made for my Mom:
I'd like to thank everyone for all the love you've shown me over the mini album I posted a few days back. I would love to share the dimensions and such with you all but the designer is giving a class on it so, out of respect for her, I can't give you the dimensions. She has told me that she may eventually do a tutorial for it on her blog. Be sure to stop by her blog and check out her scrap pages. She does really beautiful work! Ske-doosh.

Bonne Fête des pères photo wallet...
This is an album that I have always enjoyed making. You can find the tutorial here. I did a WS on the weekend and this is what we made. Luckily, my husband never visits my blog...this will be his Father's Day gift. Narf. That and the knowledge that his wife is awesome. These two things combined will make for a great gift. (sniggle)
Hey, look what snuck up on me! 50,000 hits on my blog! Holy moly. I can't tell you how much I appreciate everyone stopping by here to check out my creations. Seriously dudes, it makes my heart smile. Thanks so much.
Oven is beeping and kids are screaming. That's my cue! Ske-doosh.

Hats off to Patty Bennet...
I gotta say that Patty Bennet has been a big inspiration to me. Not only does she have talent as a papercrafter but she is an amazing business woman. Whenever I start getting lazy towards my business, I only have to think of Patty and I give myself a kick in the tush. She rocks, man.
She did this technique on her blog awhile back (see here) in video format so I decided to show the technique to my clubs this month. They LOVED it. I found the clear embossed card to be a bit to pale for my tastes so I embossed it in black. Gotta get back to work. Have a great day! Ske-doosh.

Annabel's birthday gift...
I know i shouldn't stay up late at night to make stuff but I forgot one of my good friends birthday on Wednesday. So I stayed up until 3 a.m. making this recipe box. Why? Because Anna-smelly rocks and I know she appreciates it. It was worth it because she loved it. And I love her so it's all good.
The box is one of those wooden dollarama boxes that normally has a lid. I took it off because the cards wouldn't fit with the tabs on the dividers if I left it on. I just covered it it CS and DSP. It turned out great and surprisingly straight given the hour. Nice. Bed time for Big B. Ske-doosh.
ETA: If anyone is having a problem commenting on my blog, could you let me know please?
e-mail me at lincolnwiggins@hotmail.com
Thanks!

I still love SU!...I swear.
I will post some SU! stuff soon...I promise. I've just been putting up stuff that I had in the wings because I'm really busy right now. I'm trying so hard to earn the SU! incentive cruise that I haven't had much stamping for fun time lately. I'm away for the weekend and when I get back, I'll sit down and do something SUO, ok? Still love me?
This page was done on my weekend retreat. It's a page about my BFF, Sheena. She had a severe hang over in this pic and if she sees this post, she'll want to hurt me. It's a chance I take for my art. LOL! Ske-doosh.

A day late but certainly not a dollar short.
So in my hungover haze, I made this page while my kids lazed around in the basement with me. Phil made chicken shish-kabobs on the BBQ and it was dee-lish. I'm a happy, happy, happy lady today. Jeez, come to think of it, I'm a happy lady 95% of the time. Who wouldn't be with these boys who take care of me so well? Ske-doosh.

Another Don't-Look -Ma!!!
Because I'm SUCH a show-off at heart, I want to share this mini-album I made for my Ma for her birthday. Only problem is, her birthday is in July. So, Ma, if you're looking at this...well...um...DON'T! Everybody else, scroll down to see the mini album goodness!
So? Whaddya think?? My Ma is going to be annoying people for years to come with this thing. I think half the people in Mexico saw the last one I sent her. I just thought of something...i think I'll number the flaps from the inside going out so she won't be constantly closing it wrong. I'm so smart. And modest. Ske-doosh.
Recently, I went on a scrapbook retreat that was put on by the lovely Sylvie at Scrapbook Laurentides. She has a couple of scrapbook boutiques and also runs a great website here in Québec that has an online boutique and a forum full of scrapbooking resources, challenges and AWESOME ladies to chat with. It's a great thing because it's all in French! Go over and have a look if you're somewhat bilingual! LOL! Don't worry, there's also a little button in the upper right hand corner that will translate the site into English. However, the forum is in French.
Anyway, I went on this awesome weekend with some friends of mine and was super-pumped to turn out, like, TEN pages. Not...the...case. I was page-ily challenged. I made two pages that turned out OK but i was really forcing myself. On the Saturday afternoon, I signed up for a class that one of Sylvie's DT members was giving. Her name is Lyne Lebel and she's really good! (She's the one that designed the album but I modified the dimensions a bit so I could fit more stuff in it.) Well, it's a good thing she gave that class because her mini album design got the creative juices flowing for me and I worked on it all weekend! I just finished it up today and was contemplating not posting until i sent it to my Ma. No such luck. It's the most beautiful thing I have EVER made. I love, love, LOVE it!

Hooooo BOY!
Sorry I took off for so long. I had my scrap weekend last weekend and I've been falling asleep on my feet all week. I don't feel like I'm old or anything but I'm definitely not 21 anymore. Pulling all-nighters and eating nothing but junk all weekend took it's toll on my body, I guess. Enough whining...on to the goods!
This is a page that I made for National Scrapbooking Day over at the Scrap Review. Emilie sent us all a sketch from one of the team members projects and we had to come up with a little sumthin' sumthin'. I'll admit that I struggled. I like how it turned out but I'm not doing back flips. Go on over and check out what the rest of the team came up with. I'm SO happy to have been invited to work with this group of artists. They truly RAWK!
On another topic (still related to paper because my whole life seems to revolve around paper), there are a group of awesome papercrafters over at Stampin' Addicts that are planning a blog hop called the Parade of Papers. It starts on May 8- 10 and I can't wait to see what they come up with! Stampin' Up! is having a promotion this month where if you buy 3 packs of Designer Series Paper or textured paper, you get the fourth on free! Woohoo! I hope you'll follow along on the blog hop! Some of the girls will have extra give-aways on their personal blogs.
We're having the Hallidays over for supper tonight so I gotta run. Have a great day everyone and be sure to come back and check out a few of my creations from my scrap weekend. Ske-doosh.
