This wee tree was inspired by a wonderful lady named Patti Miracle. I met and swapped with her at convention this summer. (Hi Patty!!) She made a card with a folded tree on it that resembles this one. She was kind enough to include a template in the swap but it was a little too tall to suit my card so I changed it a bit to make it using a half a circle instead of the not-quite-circle included with the card. Gotta show off the Circle Scissors somehow, right? Patti doesn't have a blog but I really wish she did because she makes the most beautiful stuff! If you know Patti, harrass her into starting a blog, okay? LOL! Ske-doosh.
ETA: Sorry, Jenn!! LOL! I used a 5 inch circle cut in half and then guess-timated the folds...as you can see by the accidental fold in the tree on this card that I just noticed because I should've taken a picture of the SECOND card that I made. Silly Brandi and her run on sentences. ;)

How CUTE!! I think you are totally awesome! That tree is adorable and I love the snowdrift!
like you think you can post something like that and not include more details!?! actually, my main question is: what size circle?!
beautiful card with lots of dimension and visual interest...
Elle est superbe ta carte Brandi! J'adore l'effet du sapin... C'est très festif, en toute simplicité!!! T'es la "queen" des cartes!
How cute is that! I am going to go try my hand at this soon! Thanks Brandi and Patti! I don't know Patti, but I do think she should start a blog too! :)
So cool! I'm totally gonna try this. Looks like Mr. Mojo has his hat back on!
Wow, that's very cool! Does it come with nuts??? :-) Love the tree!
thanks, brandi! i experimented and was successful making 3 smaller trees for a card that will post on my blog on Monday or Tuesday. now if i can only perfect the technique enough to teach it to my stampers!
Super cool!! Gonna have to try this at some point!!

SO CUTE! I'd love more directions. I tried one myself and neither half circle looked as cute as yours:(
did you start with the top fold or bottom?

Patti's my upline and a good friend. She has a crazy busy life and I wish she had a blog, too! I helped make those cards and I fell in love with the tree, too! So cute!
