One for the road...

One last post before I bid you all a final Happy Holidays! I'm trying my hardest to make an ornament each for my MIL, SIL, and AuntIL. I made this one the other night and am half finished the next one. I'm going to do it in the car on the way down to QC. I'm gonna go get my hair did and then were off like a herd of turtles. Merry Ho HO, to all you Llama Llama Gammas who are reading this! You've made the last few evenings really fun (waves at Amy!). Ske-doosh.

Sneak Peek and Merry Wishes...

Here's the bundle! Awesome , n'est pas?
And here's my card that I love. Big Head Brandi .

Here's sneak peak of the new Love You Much promo. I have to say, if my husband wasn't so handsome and awesome, I'd marry this new punch. Sad, but true. ;) You can download the flyer in PDF form here.

I'll be back on the 1st of January to post some stuff. I'm going down to Québec City to the in-laws and WON'T BE STAMPING THE WHOLE TIME!!! omg. o-m-g.

I'd like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah (waves to Sarah!) and any other holiday celebration you and your families do! You guys have given me a lot this year, more than you know. Big, big, big hugs to you all! Ske-doosh.

Encre, Papier, Ciseaux Inspiration Challenge #7

Here's the color combo for this week:
I'll start off by saying that the only elegant eggplant I had on hand was from a textured mix pack that I've had since the beginning of my demoship. Comfort zone? Waaaaay over there. That's why it's called a challenge, right?
I just received this stamp set the other day and I was really eager to ink it up. You can't see it in the shot but the flower has been embossed with clear EP. I stamped it in baja first then I sponged the kiwi directly on to the stamp. Gave it a little dip in versamark and there you go. A simple and easy card. I like how it turned out. Let's go see what the girls cooked up this week, shall we?
Geneviève made this beautiful layout for the challenge so she wins the Level one stamp set!!! Thanks so much for playing Geneviève! Tes pages sont très belles! E-mail me your mailing address and I'll get the stamps out to you.
Feel free to play along with us again this week everyone...hint hint. LOL! Just link back to Cindy's blog. Ske-doosh.

Kusu-wha?

Really bad photo, I know. This Christmas ornament is all Jenn Diercks fault! If she wouldn't have made her Kusudama ornament first, I never would have made one! They're beautiful, aren't they? I got the tutorial here. Try it out! It gives you something to do with your hands while you watch TV...you know, instead of snarfing back a bag or chips? Ske-doosh.

Yet again...KK.

Here's another KK gift. Pretty simple. It has Hershey's kisses inside. Edward is calling me from the Eclipse. How can I say no to a vampire? Especially one as hot as my Edward? Ske-doosh.

Do you like crocheted stuff?

My friend Manon Dufour has started a blog. She has 4 kids so I don't know where she finds the time. This woman has so much talent, she doesn't know what to do with it! She was the co-owner of Bobarbo scrapbooking supplies and has an Etsy shop with some very cool camera straps. I think she'll be adding some Bobarbo stuff to it soon. She's take gorgeous photos and is an amazing scrapbooker. Anyway, the point of this post is for you guys to go check out her blog and leave her some love. It's in french but she's better in English than she lets on...LOL! She makes the cutest crochet hats for kids and you can purchase them from her by getting in touch with her on her blog. She has an excellent rating on her Etsy shop so I encourage you to go check her out! Ske-doosh.

Another Kris Kringle gift...

Look at this box!!! Look at it!!! Andrea Walford is my idol. Her generosity astounds me. Go check out her site!! Go! NOW!...after you leave a comment telling you how awesome I am, of course...

Oh yeah, look at this photo I took of our Christmas tree (you know, the one I said I wasn't going to put up this year because Skyler is making it his personal mission in life to get into EVERYTHING lately...) last night! Cool huh? Ske-doosh.

A Kris Kringle Kristmas...

There is a tradition at the school where my husband and I work. Each year they choose a name of another employee and give a little gift everyday for one week, usually before the Christmas break. We're not supposed to know who the person is that is giving us the little gifts. Then, at the staff party, we give the "big" gift. Well, now that I work at Phil's school, I finally got to participate. This is the first gift I gave to Catherine, the woman I chose. I honestly thought I could get away with it and that she wouldn't guess that it was me! There are quite a few of us that paper craft at the school now. Sigh. She picked me right off the bat. Oh well. Next year, I'll give automotive parts so no one guesses that it's me...ske-doosh.

Encre, Papier, Ciseaux Inspiration Challenge #6

Here's the inspiration pic.
And here's my 6x6 double layout.
Sorry about the photo. I think if you click on it you can see it bigger. I'm glad that Cindy threw this one my way. I've been so engulfed by card-making lately that I forgot how much I love scrapbooking! The first time I ever met Cindy, she showed me her SU! pages and I was blown away. I got home and immediately ordered a beautiful red 6x6 scrapbook from the catty and proceeded to make one page and then put it on the shelf. I hadn't touched it until tonight. I think the pages turned out great. Those photos of Logan are priceless.
Check out the team's creations:
Feel free to play along. Link your creation back to Cindy's blog. Feels good to scrap again!! Hey, you know what time it is? 1:30 a.m. Ske-doosh.

Andrea Walford RULES!

If you guys haven't gone to check out Andrea Walford's Holiday Tutorial Blitz yet, well, frankly, you're crazy. She is amazing. So, I know I've already post 2 of these to show you buy this is what I've been up to as far as x-mas gifts go. These were so fun to make that I've made one for each educator at my son's daycare. Club stuff...

These are the two projects we're doing for my stamper's clubs this month. Stained glass and stamping on candles. I used both tutorials from Splitcoast Stampers and I'd love to link you to them but Blogger is being a pain in the keester.... I'm off today from work and am busy making a bunch of stuff. Unfortunately, I can't show you any of it until next week. I'll try and whip up a couple of things to post but I'm not guaranteeing anything.

I've got my first official Control Freaks Swap coming up and I'm hyper excited to get started. Just waiting for the box of goodies to show up! I'm such a nerd...ske-doosh.

Encre, Papier, Ciseaux Inspiration #5

{------------Here's the inspiration.

I have to admit that it took me a lot of time to come up with an idea for this card. I really wanted to stick to the look of the booklet that Cindy chose. I had a few mini album ideas floating around but the basic look of the booklet didn't scream mini album to me. (As I'm typing this, I still haven't seen the rest of the team's projects so I'm crossing my fingers that they aren't mini albums...LOL!) So, I went with the card. I'm really pleased with the way it turned out. I'm not sure what occasion calls for a card this dark and somber (it even seems to dark for a sympathy card) but what can I say? I'm reading the Twilight Series right now so I guess I'm being influenced by my crush on Edward. I freakin' HEART Edward. You Twilighties out there know what I'm talking about. Can I get a WHUT WHUUUUUT?!

Check out the EPC ladies creations:

So, feel free to try out Cindy's challenge. Just link back here and share your creation with us! Ske-doosh.

stamps: très chic BG, wonderful you
paper: basic black
ink: versamark, craft whisper white
accessories: jumbo eyelets, white organza ribbon (retired), top note, black 3 d's (non-SU!)

I'd also like to give a shout-out to my blogging buddy, Lorie Ames at Live, Laugh, Love, Create. I won some awesome blog candy from her and it arrived the other day! Mmmm...skittles. I'll make something purdy with it on the weekend. Thanks again, Lorie! You rock!
